Translation of ''Tombé Mal'' by Tryo

Song: Tombé Mal (Fallen Ill)
Artist: Tyro

NOTE: This translation is a little looser than how I normally translate songs, just because the literal French to English translation did always make a lot of sense.
♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪ ♫♪♫♪

I fall and it hurts,
You dig my grave, it's so mundane
A stadium's space per second on average in the world,
Yet deforestation does not interest the public!
When I fall, you hurt yourself,
But I reckon that you understand nothing at all
Because for each of my sheets that you steal
It's a little less oxygen for you city

Oh no no no no no no
Fallen there
Oh no no no no no no
Fallen ill

When I fall, you hurt yourself
But I reckon that you understand nothing at all
When we talk to you it does nothing
Because you're too preoccupied with your conquest of the capital.

When I fall, you hurt yourself
You, the king of the animal kingdom,
When you get more oxygen in your veins
You'll remember that it was the old oak tree.

Frankly, you hurt me
When I see that there is nothing about me which can rouse you
Your race has monopolized hate
Not even hyenas kill each other as much as you do!

Frankly, you hurt me
You don't see that this thing is beautiful and you've abused it
You use your knowledge
Just to spoil your existence more

Tine bile bisse ya sindone
(All the tree trunks of the world are bodies)
bine minkouk ane bora
(Like those of men)
Messeki ilé ivoé
(I am not a tree hollow)

Ka bilié bissé ya sindone
(All the sheets of the trees of the world)
Bine metsi bise minsona
(Have blood and flesh)
Ngoni ngueng
(Sons of wisdom)

When I fall, you hurt yourself
But never mind needing to believe that you love this
Your skin is growing paler
I believe that it's the end of your reign, animal

When I fall, you hurt yourself
Little man, scrawny admiral
Of a utopian ship that has a hole in the hold
And like the Titanic, the sea will swallow you

Yégué , huumm ... Yégué , humm
Come on, what... Come on, what...
Asoudjé-asoudjé ( Messeki ilé iové )
Why, why (I am not a tree hollow)
Asoudjé-asoudjé ( Ngoni ngeung)
Why... why (sons of wisdom)

Frankly you hurt me
We could have made an alright life
If you had breathed life into a little bit of oxygen
To some young Oak saplings

Tine bile bisse ya sindone
(All the tree trunks of the world are bodies)
bine minkouk ane bora
(Like those of men)
Messeki ilé ivoé
(I am not a tree hollow)
Ka bilié bissé ya sindone
(All the sheets of the trees of the world)
Bine metsi bise minsona
(Have blood and flesh)

Translation of ''Bye Bye'' by Tryo

Song: Bye Bye
Artist: Tryo

----------------------------------------------------

Since they're vain, the promises that can keep me on a leash
Oh I'm way too afraid
Of the sadness which balances between the expectations and the hope
For better days
So I grab my hat, a guitar on my back
and straight away I board
onto a boat towards the unknown, to find again the hot sand
waiting for me, let's go ''see you soon''
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye

Since this world goes straight to the wall, I would love to slow down the pace
Eh why hurry
From going quicker than the wind while we forget the beautiful moments
We miss them
Goodbye forever to the stress I am against, I will not bring a watch with me
Too bad if I arrive last
Where I am going, they won't have any, I have all the time that I need
The present is enough for me
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye

If this merry-go-round one day stops, I'll just skedaddle along
Don't count on me
For stashing away my cash, take myself refuge at the Helvetian
No thanks
When this beautiful world will make war, I will be going to find my brothers
In the shadow of an old centenary
And guided by the light, we'll let our crazy dreams
be carried off by the river
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
